About Wall Of Retro
If you’re into single-tailed hydroplanes, groovy lamps, rotary phones, coffee percolators, and avocado green appliances, then you’re cut from the same cloth as the Wall Of Retro.
When living in beige Generica, it’s sometimes easier to find life’s cool factor in the past. Things that may not have been cool back then have sometimes weathered time well. This blog is dedicated to those things which we either remember or suddenly discover to be a noteworthy vintage alternative to our high-tech era.
Wall Of Retro is picture oriented, and shares a sometimes chincy link to the last decades of the 20th Century. You’ll find recipes, adverts, and fashion beyond your wildest nightmares.
Enjoy!

I was wondering, was there ever a time in your life when you drove somewhat aimlessly through the Puget Sound area, surveying sites, buildings, vehicles, used record stores, junk shops, etc, with a group of like-minded enthusiasts? If so, they’d love to see pics of a 1968 T-Bird, giant California Cooler bottles, and Robin Trower album (what’s an album?) cover art. They may even be tempted into sharing their own mementos with the author/owner of this delightful website. For starters, a blue ’65 LeMans ragtop maybe? Keep the faith, baby! Oh, and may I suggest a somewhat ironic tagline?
“Retro! Now, more than ever!”
